I am taking a 2-month hiatus from social networking. There will be posts in that time but they have all been scheduled ahead of time. If you post a comment and it does not appear immediately, it has been tagged for moderation and I will have to approve it once I am able to. Thanks! ...

He’s called me a liar and questioned my salvation. He’s attacked my character and used stories of when I was unsaved against me. Instead of exegeting Scripture he relies on a myriad of logical fallacies such as argumentum ad hominem (both abusive and circumstantial), ad hominem tu quoque, ad verecundiam, ad ignorantiam, reductio ad ridiculum, etc. Am I talking about Satan? Nope. It’s Glenn over at Faith & Fotografia. As the discussion has progressed, he has increasingly distanced himself from reality and orthodox Christian doctrine. Justin Taylor spoke with her and she passed along a few prayer requests. All of us should lift Joni up in prayer to God. Her requests were: Pray that my very thin fragile bones gain bone mineral density from the quarterly Boniva treatments. Ask God to help ...

My family and I were recently decorating the house for Christmas when it was suggested that I turn on some festive holiday music. And as I went to my computer to sift through my music collection I realized I don’t have much to choose from. In fact, in all of my years of illegal and legal downloading I’ve only purchased one all-Christmas music album, A Charlie Brown Christmas, which has to be the most depressing Christmas music of all time. If you weren’t on Prozac before you listened to that album, you’ll be begging your therapist for a prescription by song two. That li...
