Joyful or Mockery?

Part of me wants to dance and see this as a joyful occasion. The other part, the one that has won out, sees this as a mockery of the Godly (at least its supposed to be) union between one man and one woman. The actual lyrics of the song aside, these kind of antics are more suited for the reception and not the ceremony which is supposed to be a solemn and serious expression of their commitment to God to honor one another and Him with their marriage.

P.S. Don’t forget that there was a woman leading the ceremony and, in an interview on a television morning show, the bride said that she was keeping her name. Hmmm? That’s telling.
