When You’re Really Desperate, Use The Word “Change”

We’ve been through this routine before. The favorite buzzword of the left, and of Barack Obama’s presidential campaign, was “change.” My question was always, change from what to what? Well it seems as though we finally have an answer. The change that Barack Obama would like to see implemented is a change from a free market system to one of government dominance. At least when it comes to healthcare. He has launched an email campaign to ask his supporters to attend at least one community event on healthcare this month. He is apparently asking them to do this in order to combat the “outrageous falsehoods” that are “filling the airwaves and the Internet.” He says that the only reason people are protesting his plans are in order to “scare people into opposing change.”

“Supporting change.” Doesn’t matter what you’re changing from and what you’re changing too. Just support change. That’s your duty as a good American.

Oh and by the way…the title of this email he sent to his supporters was “This is the moment.” Gag me.
